Environmental Efficiency is pleased to announce that Agnès Ricoux has been added to SEI’s panel of Energy Efficiency advisors.
The SEI Advice, Mentoring & Assessment Programme offers free energy assessments to the industrial and commercial sector. Environmental Efficiency is playing a major part in this programme and has already carried out 33 assessments under this scheme since November 2008.
The addition of Agnès Ricoux enables Environmental Efficiency to build on this success and increase the number of assessments carried out per month. Agnès holds a French Masters in Process Engineering and has undertaken a large number of energy projects over a period of 5 years. These include 02, United Drug, Greyhound Waste, Grand Canal Hotel, Kilkenny Cooling, Takeda Pharmaceuticals and many more.
This is the second addition to the SEI panel of Environmental Efficiency staff. Bob Sutcliffe, Environmental Efficiency’s Technical Director was appointed in November 2008.
The launch of ISME's Environmental Handbook for SMEs took place in January. ISME commissioned Environmental Efficiency to write this handbook in acknowledgement of Environmental Efficiency's many years' experience in helping Irish SMEs cope with the increasing burden of environmental legislation and related costs. The handbook offers practical, common sense advice and includes detailed information on reducing costs of waste disposal, energy and water.
Pictured at the launch are Bob Sutcliffe, Director of Environmental Efficiency, Mark Fielding, Chief Executive of ISME, John Gormley, Minister for the Environment, Heritage and Local Government and Brid Horan, Director ESB Customer Supply.
At the launch, Bob Sutcliffe said that companies that take a proactive approach to addressing their environmental issues will improve their market share given the growing trend towards green procurement, especially those companies that export to the UK. Many companies do not realise the significant financial aid available to help companies with these issues.
Further information on help with environmental issues and financial aid are available from Environmental Efficiency, www.enviro-consult.com or Telephone 01 276 1428.
Copies of the handbook are available from ISME,
