A bunds is a containment surrounding a tank or drum store, usually taking the form of a walled enclosure.  Bunds should be of sufficient capacity to hold the tank contents in the event of tank failure, and be water tight so that the contents can be held until safe disposal can be arranged.  The EPA and local authorities have rules for the sizing, design, construction and testing of bunds.  Environmental Efficiency can advise on all these aspects and undertake the required testing.
