Career Oportunities

Despite the economic down turn, Environmental Efficiency is continuing to offer Student Work Experience and Internships for a limited number of positions.  Preference will be given to those in engineering and environmental disciplines.

These opportunities offer the chance to be involved with hands on projects in the fields of energy conservation, environmental monitoring, and all aspects of IPPC/Waste licensing.  Successful applicants will work along side experienced professionals and will undertake field work, lab work, research and report writing.

For student placements, the expected placement is between 8 and 12 weeks; for internships the expected placement is for a minimum of 12 weeks.  The successful applicant will benefit from the experience gained and this should make the applicant’s CV stand out when applying for jobs.  In the past we have recruited paid staff from the pool of current interns.

Whilst we are not currently recruiting staff for permanent positions, we do have the need for staff on a temporary basis from time to time.  If you have at least one year’s experience in environmental consultancy and ideally a Master's degree or Post Graduate Diploma, we will keep your CV on file to match against any requirement that may arise in the future.

Applications - including a full CV - should be emailed to: energy@iol.ie
