Occupational Air Monitoring

Environmental Efficiency can carry out occupational air monitoring of solvents, dusts and other chemicals throughout Ireland.  Occupational monitoring is essential to ensure continued protection of employees and also protect organisations from spurious claims.  If there is no evidence of occupational monitoring having been carried out it can be difficult to fight occupation health claims.  Occupational monitoring should therefore be an integral part of any process change on the shop floor.

One common cause of high levels of dust or chemicals found during occupational monitoring of work place air are poorly maintained or inadequately sized extraction systems (sometimes called local exhaust ventilation).  Environmental Efficiency can undertake assessments of local exhaust ventilation against  Irish or UK requirements and then propose and monitor corrective action.
