Many IPPC licenses issued by the EPA require an assessment of over ground pipes to determine whether retention is required.  This is to determine whether retention is required to prevent leaks from valves, flanges and other fittings from contaminating the ground or surface water.  For many pharmaceutical sites, the entire site would be remotely bunded and additional retention would not be required.  Environmental Efficiency can undertake such assessments.
