Indoor air quality is fast becoming an issue for people either in the home or at work. To cater for this increased level of interest Environmental Efficiency has launched a simplified low cost service for domestic and commercial properties concentrating on the commonly found pollutants.
From our experience most indoor air quality problems are caused by high levels of carbon dioxide, low levels of humidity and VOCs (Volatile Organic Compounds). Less common gases that need to be rules out include carbon monoxide, nitrogen dioxide and hydrogen sulphide. All these substances, including formaldehyde, toluene, xylene and benzene can be monitored for in a single visit and the results can be made available within hours.
Where there is concern that other VOCs may be causing a problem, then a VOC screen can also be undertaken.
