ENVIRONMENTAL EFFICIENCY LTD. TO OFFER WELL PERFORMANCE TESTING FOR PROJECTS PURSUING THE WELL BUILDING STANDARD

(Dublin, 20 November 2019) – Environmental Efficiency Ltd. is proud to announce that as a WELL Performance Testing Organization, it will now offer performance testing services to projects pursuing WELL Certification. In addition, Environmental Efficiency Ltd. will leverage its expertise to help organizations, developers and building owners understand how their spaces are performing and the impact on occupant health and well-being.

WELL Performance Testing Organizations provide performance testing services to WELL v2 projects. Overall, performance testing includes the evaluation of 67 distinct performance indicators while on the project site, requiring over 20 types of tests to be performed and using 10 or more types of equipment.

Environmental Efficiency’s Senior Environmental Consultant George Byrne is the resident WELL Performance Testing Agent and also holds the WELL AP certification, placing him among a group of leading professionals who are dedicated to supporting human health and well-being in the built environment.

“WELL is now the world’s leading health-focused building standard. When we looked at the evidence-based strategies outlined in the WELL Building Standard and coupled that with our experience in Environmental, Sustainability and H&S compliance work, we believed that we were well-suited to provide a top quality, cost effective and flexible service for clients perusing WELL Performance Verification.”

Environmental Efficiency plans to offer its WELL services across the entire European region and beyond. They are accredited to ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 and use their ISO 17025 affiliated laboratory (ILAC accredited) for water and air analysis.

The WELL Building Standard is focused exclusively on the ways that buildings and communities, and everything in them, can improve our comfort, drive better choices, and generally enhance, not compromise, our health and wellness. Performance verification ensures that the space is not only designed for health, but that it is actually performing as intended.
