The WELL Building Standard is revolutionizing the way people think about buildings. It explores how design, operations and behaviours within the places where we live, work, learn and play can be optimized to advance human health and well-being. As a performance-based system, every WELL project is verified through on-site, post-occupancy testing of building performance.
LEED Indoor Air Quality
There are three available routes to be considered under the LEED v4 Indoor Air Quality Assessment Credit. The easiest and most popular option is to test the indoor air quality as per Option 2 of the LEED V4 manual in occupied spaces of the building before occupancy.
BREEAM In-Use is an assessment and certification scheme designed to help building managers reduce and improve the environmental performance of existing non-domestic buildings. The scheme is structured to drive sustainability improvements in existing buildings. BREEAM does this through third-party certification of the assessment of an asset’s environmental, social and economic sustainability performance, using standards developed by BRE Global.
